What can I expect from coaching sessions?
As your coach, I work to support you in envisioning what is possible, clarifying your goals, and helping you design a map to get there.
In the coaching partnership, I am your honest champion and advocate: helping you to see and acknowledge your gifts and talents and to negotiate your challenges.
During our sessions, we will work together through focused conversations, designed to facilitate your growth.
My coaching style is relaxed and non-judgmental, providing you with a safe and comfortable opportunity to explore what you really want and let go of habits that no longer serve you.
Coaching sessions can be by phone or video conferencing (Skype/Google Hangout/Facetime, etc). I also work with clients face-to-face in my coaching studio in Tunbridge, Vermont.
How do we start?
Initial Phone Consultation
The first step in working with me is to email or call to set up an initial confidential 15 minute consultation. During this call we will talk about what you are looking for in a coach and what you hope to accomplish. This first communication is free of charge.
After the initial consultation, if we decide to work together, we will set up a “Discovery Session.”
The Discovery Session is an hour and fifteen minute conversation during which we will begin to develop a framework to support you in achieving your goals.
In advance of the Discovery Session, I will send you Discovery Document, a series of questions, which l prepare especially for you. As a client, your work will be to write responses (with as many or as few words as you choose) and forward me your writing. In advance of our first meeting, I will read your responses, make notes, and create follow-up questions to lead us during your Discovery Session.
Designing Our Framework
I work with clients on short-term or long-term basis. I have clients whom I meet with weekly, others bi-weekly or monthly, depending on their goals.
Some clients want just a few sessions to help them work through a specific question, transition or challenge. For most clients, I suggest an initial commitment of two sessions a month for three months.

I offer a sliding fee scale for clients who work in the public and non-profit sectors or who are under-employed. Please call or e-mail for details.
I bring 25 years of leadership experience as a successful community organizer, manager, teacher, marketer, and fundraiser to my work as a coach and non-profit consultant. My expertise in relationship building, communications, and facilitation supports clients in achieving goals and keeping on track.

“I came to Jenn last year to explore my work life balance and find ways to get more excited about my job. With her wise questions and astute observations, Jenn guided me beyond the goals I knew I had to new ideas I hadn’t been able to articulate.
Within 5 months, her coaching enabled me to ask for—and get—more than I'd have considered in several negotiations. I learned tools that are going to help me in work and personal situations throughout my life.”
