Meet monthly from February through June for lively and focused discussions, engaging presentations, and hands-on activities. We will take a deeper dive into content covered in the fundraising certificate program in addition to exploring new topics. Please Note: this program is only open to graduates of one of Jenn Hayslett’s Fundraising Certificate programs.

The Details
When?
- We will meet once a month on Zoom. Meetings will be in the first week of the month February - June 2022
- Thursday, February 2

- Each session will be 3 hours: 9:00 am -12:00
- Expect to spend an additional 1 hour per month on preparation.
- Please try to attend every session. If you need to miss a session, they will be recorded.
Session Topics
Each month we will focus on topics that will support you in your growth and development as a nonprofit leader and fundraiser. Just like in our fundraising certificate class, this program will be a lively combination of presentation, small group and large group discussion with plenty of hands-on practice and activities - but with less homework and preparation for you.

March 2nd - Engaging your Board
April 5th - Asking Without Anxiety
May 4th - Capital Campaigns & Planned Giving Campaigns
June 1st - You as a Leader and Fundraiser
February 2nd - Checking In: Your Fundraising Plan and Metrics
- How is your fundraising plan serving you and your organization?
- What is working and what needs updating and improvement?
- In this session you will review your development plan to bring it into alignment with your current reality and help set attainable goals for the future.
March 2nd - Engaging your Board
- How can you train your board members to be better fundraisers?
- What can you do to partner more effectively with your board?
- In this session you will learn strategies and tactics for engaging your board and will have the opportunity to set goals for your board’s engagement.
April 5th - Asking Without Anxiety
- How can you set yourself up to actually make those calls and visits?
- What can you do to build confidence in direct solicitation conversations with your donors?
- In this session you will have the opportunity to take a deeper dive into your asking practice and learn strategy for more complex donor interactions.
May 4th - Capital Campaigns & Planned Giving Campaigns
- How can you plan for a campaign and set goals?
- What should you actually say to people when asking them to make a bequest?
- In this session you will learn basic planning strategies for running a successful capital campaign and a bequest campaign and will set goals for your next steps.
June 1st - You as a Leader and Fundraiser
- What is your leadership style?
- Where do you want to grow and learn?
- In this session you will review where you are on your professional journey and set achievable goals to grow into.
Pricing
- Early Bird Pricing - 20% discount preferred program price of $1200 with registration on or before January 10.
- Regular Pricing - Standard program cost of $1500 with registration between January 10-22nd.
- Late Pricing - Program cost of $1900 with late registration between January 23 - January 27, 2022.
- The final date to register is January 27th.
Registration and Payment
- Payments can be made by check, Venmo, or ACH direct deposit.
- Payments need to be made in full by January 30.
- You will receive a formal invoice upon your registration. If your organization is paying for your participation, you can submit the invoice for payment.
- If you are paying on your own, please note, professional development coursework and coaching are tax deductible on your Schedule C of your income tax.
- You can request a full refund if we receive your request by January 22. After this, no refunds will be made.
- Registrations are accepted on a rolling basis until the program is full.
- The number of participants is capped at 21.
